The Broadway RFD Board of Directors are a group of volunteers who help steward RFD’s resources, plan the productions, promote our organization, and promote the arts in Lindsborg and the Smoky Valley.
Eric Lundstrom, President
Eric is in his fifth year on the Board of Directors and serving as the President. He has been involved in Broadway RFD since he was young and in recent years has moved from the stage, to the director’s chair. Eric has directed his fifth RFD production in the summer of 2019. One of Eric’s favorite things about being a part of Broadway RFD is the level of talent that can be found in the surrounding communities that come together to bring the RFD stage to life.
Tyler Breneman, Vice President
This is Tyler’s first term on the BRFD Board. He has served as rehearsal accompanist and show pianist since 2014. He graduated from Bethany College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance, with a Sacred Music minor. He was a student of Dr. Melody Turnquist-Steed. You can find Tyler all around the community as a member of the Hyllningsfest committee, maintaining pipe organs around central Kansas, or working with light and sound systems at the middle & high school in Lindsborg, where he is the HS/MS Accompanist and Auditorium technician.
Angela Dolezal, Secretary
This is Angela’s second term on the BRFD Board; she was previously on the board from 2010-2016. She has created choreography for several of BRFD shows, including Annie, Beauty and the Beast, and Wizard of Oz, and she has run the sound for many past productions. Angela is married to Ben and they have two daughters. Summers for the Dolezal family wouldn’t be the same without being involved in Broadway RFD!
Anna Anderson, Treasurer
Dalana isn’t a stranger to the Broadway RFD stage, having acted in and helped with the summer productions for nearly a decade. A graduate of Smoky Valley High School, she is currently in her junior year at Kansas Wesleyan, studying Musical Theatre. Most recently, Dalana is proud to be directing the upcoming summer youth camp, ‘Peter Pan Jr.’
Julie first appeared on the Lindsborg stage in 1972 as Brigitta von Trapp in the Lindsborg High School production of The Sound of Music. She last appeared on the Lindsborg stage in the 2019 Broadway RFD and Bethany College production of Sondheim on Sondheimas an auditioning woman who can’t sing. She works part-time as an artist at Hemslöjd (the gift shop and Dala Horse factory on Main Street) and is a member of the Lindsborg Folkdanslag (the adult Swedish folk dance group) and the Bethany Oratorio Society (which performs Handel’s Messiah every Easter). She also serves as the fundraising chair for the Midsummer’s Festival (held in Lindsborg every third Saturday in June) and as song leader for the sanctuary service and vocalist in the contemporary service praise band at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Abby is currently a student at Bethany college studying Vocal Music education. Being a Lindsborg native, Abby grew up in the fine arts. Abby is also an RFD veteran. Starting at the age of 8, Abby debuted on Broadway RFD’s stage. Thanks to the positive and ever growing fine arts scene in Lindsborg, Abby has joined the Broadway RFD board in hopes to learn more about the fine arts and make a difference!
